Today, i have got the sad message that Micheal Broadbent has passed away. He was one of the most inspiring people in my early wine career. His articles in decanter, his books and his tastings notes have influenced intensely my wine appreciation. At my WSET diploma graduation ceremony in guildhall in 2010 i met him in person for the first time. His kindness and warmth have touched me deeply.
